Myself and my bother were there for a wedding, we requested that our 2 rooms be close and we were next door so that was great we also requested an early check-in to allow us to get changed for the wedding and both rooms were ready which was perfect. We didn't have chance to get food after the journey down but were provided with some pastries and a hot drink in the resturant before we had to leave for the wedding at no charge, which was very nice. Lots of free safe parking very close to the hotel and a nice aspect from the room. The staff were nice, the rooms functional and clean and we were only there to sleep really as were guests at a wedding, which took place in the the Towers literally a 2 min walk away. If you prefer a more interesting room then book into the older part the Towers which has a lot of history some of the guests at the wedding stayed there rather than the more modern part. We had breakfast the following morning and again no complaints it was buffet style with a choice of hot and cold food.

The staff from arrival to departure were frankly immense, Helyna,(forgive the spelling) and the other lady receptionist could not have been more welcoming, helpful and gracious. Then over to the bar and restaurant staff, Katie and Genevieve were a repeat of the first 2 team members, only more so. My partner and I were stressed as we had quite a traumatic journey. However these particular team members were jovial, patient and forgiving,(I looked like worzel gummidge upon arrival), they did not blink and treated us like Royalty. The same can be said of Brad In the restaurant , also absolutely exceptional in every way, greeting, service and helpfulness par excellence. Selina and Prem also deserve special mention, De Vere are fortunate to have such a fantastic set of employees. Also thanks to the chefs and serving team members as well as the cleaners, all truly great. Thank you all so much.

The room was beautiful and the old part of the hotel was wonderful to stay in. We enjoyed walking around the ground on the next morning. The new part is also lovely and we had a nice evening meal and breakfast there. The restaurant staff in the evening were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and I was very touched to find a birthday card, chocolate and biscuits in my room. The restaurant staff also gave me a pudding platter, which was amazing. I am so glad I chose Horsley Towers as my birthday treat venue. A final thanks to the female staff member who came over and unlocked the Chapel for us to view. It was really beautiful. Thank you everyone!

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice, hot buffet, food well cooked. Room wasn't ready at checkin so were shown to a refreshments area (no charge) for teas, coffees and muffins. Room was a little on the small side but was one of the newly refurbished rooms with a small sized balcony. Parking was ample and free and felt secure. Did not have dinner as were off to a function that night. Good, clean hotel with an air of quality about it. Could have done with a hook on the bathroom doors to hang dressing gown or towel on. The single shower cubicle was on the small side and a bit of a challenge. Overall, a good stay. Would go back again sometime.

The Tower was a real surprise and fascinating being separate to the main hotel it was a great experience , the history and surroundings and peace made it a very restful place to stay .The breakfast was excellent the evening menu was a bit basic for us .The real strength of our stay was the staff , Brad Evans the duty manager at the tower was outstanding so proud of the site and his company he made us feel so welcome and explained the history of the place which brought the surroundings to life .Toby Stanakozv looked after us so well in the restaurant so friendly professional and helpful . De Vere should be very proud of them both .
